I teach pastoral theology and ethics at Ripon College Cuddesdon in Oxford, where I serve as Senior Tutor. My research interest is in Practical Theology and my doctoral thesis relates to the challenges of expressing Christian faith in the everyday working life of secular institutions.
I currently serve as chair of the British and Irish Association for Practical Theology and editor of Crucible, the Journal of Christian Social Ethics (see Websites).
I am an Anglican priest.
